However, our world today is more complex than ever before. We are no longer living in a world that can be understood by one person or even one group of people. We are all living in the same world, but the same word may have different meanings for different people.

Let’s go back to the original meaning of the word “complex” which was “complicated.” That word now means “complicated” or “coarsely made.” The word was originally used to describe something that was made by someone who wasn’t skilled enough to make something that looked nice and finished properly. Today, we use that same word to describe something that is made by someone who isn’t skilled enough to make something that looks nice, but it isn’t finished properly.
